Hong Kong’s New Billion Dollar Sports Park Opens For Business
The Kai Tak Sports Park held an opening ceremony on March 1 to mark its official opening. The sports park consists of a main stadium with 50,000 seats, a 10,000-seat arena, and a 5,000-seat sports ground. The project, which cost over $US 3.8 billion, started construction in April 2019 and was built on the land previously occupied by the now-demolished Kai Tak airport.
