Lights Out for the Last Time as Hong Kong’s Historic Sunbeam Theatre Closes Permanently
After 52 years of entreating the city , the iconic cantonese opera theatre located in North Point closes its doors for the last time on March 3 after years of struggling to stay afloat, the theatre has put on multiple iconic show such as “Trump, the twin president”, fans gather outside to bid farewell as the lights on its famous sign dimmed for the last time and the gates slowly lowered.
