NBA superstar Stephen Curry visited Shun Tak Fraternal Association Leung Kau Kui College in Tuen Mun on September 14, his first return to Hong Kong since 2016. Fresh off his "Wide Open" China tour—Beijing, Dongguan, Shenzhen and Hong Kong—the Golden State Warriors guard watched and commented on a school team game, then joined students for shooting practice, encouraging more three-pointers. He launched the "Curry Cup" Hong Kong Inter-School Basketball Challenge to nurture local talent. Over 100 fans gathered outside from the previous night. Later, he appeared at a Li-Ning store in Tsim Sha Tsui, meeting fans before departing. In June, he signed a 10-year, $400 million deal with Li-Ning. His 2016 visit was part of an Under Armour Asia tour.
