Accuracy is a core obligation of Nexpher News. Despite careful verification, errors can occur. When they do, we correct them promptly, transparently, and completely.

What we correct

  • Incorrect names, titles, or affiliations
  • Wrong dates, times, or locations
  • Inaccurate captions, credits, or descriptions
  • Misidentified subjects or places
  • Misattributed quotes or information
  • Misspellings that change meaning
  • Errors in context or background

Types of corrections

Minor corrections (typos or formatting that do not change meaning) may be fixed without a separate notice.

Significant corrections (errors that affect accuracy or understanding) are corrected in the article with a note describing what changed.

Critical errors that fundamentally misrepresent events may lead to a prominent correction, rewrite, or removal, with an explanation when appropriate.

Live blogs

Live blog updates that contain errors are amended or followed by a clarifying update so the timeline remains readable.
